Formed in 1926 by Alec Jarrett, the company is situated in prime agricultural countryside in the West Country with farming interests extending to some 800 acres comprising of Beef and Arable production. Due to a combination of the natural good quality grass and specialising in continental cross breeds this ensures the highest quality finished cattle are available all year round.

Our beef is reared by a select group of producers who understand the need to produce excellent quality beef. All our producers work to the highest animal welfare standards and our beef is fully traceable right back to individual farms.

As key stakeholders in the food supply chain we’re dedicated to ensuring the full traceability of our products working with a network of over 35,000 farmers using strategically located local abattoirs that minimise animal transport distances. We recognise that the farmers who supply meat to us are vital partners in ensuring that the quality of our product is maintained and traceability is ensured.

Our cattle are cared for by small, dedicated, family run farms where a strict code of practice is in place to deliver the highest levels of product integrity, ensuring that cattle graze freely on open, fertile pastures, in a secure and wholesome environment.
